Shanghai Metro Map
Description: This Shanghai Metro map is a tool for tourists and locals alike to better maneuver Shanghai without making themselves a target for local pickpockets and petty criminals.
Objective: Redesign a transit map of choice that portrays all necessary information in a simple and clear manor.
Solution: Design the map so whom ever is using it can chose to open one part at a time, therefore reducing the need to open the entire map when only a section of the information is required. The information has been organized into three main sections that can be viewed individually or as a whole, the first being the map itself and the lines and stops, the second, tourist information and attractions and the third, ticketing and safety information.
