Someone asked me to draw a boogie man. Funny thing about the boogie man is that it's completely undefined. There's no defining detail to distinguish it from other monsters. All we know for sure is that it's a monster that creates fear. So I thought about what primal fears makes a monster scary. A massive body, a dark shape, a big toothy mouth, huge claws and eyes that glow in the dark. Then I just looked for the most interest way to combine those things. And the most interesting idea I had was, "What if I put the eyes in the back of the mouth?"
