This project did in Seminar Class. For this class, I did lots of researches about coffee(there is the link https://www.tumblr.com/blog/smilexxiao). After those research, I found that coffee is not just itself.There have more things behind coffee, for example different ways of drinking and making coffee reflect people how they experience coffee and taste them. And why there have lots of way of making coffee? One might be relate to the development of national history and culture, another can be personal learing and experience translating in coffee.
I'm interested in coffee in Asian culture, like how the coffee connected with their culture. This book is about my thesis statement: "When looking at the Japanese culture through the lens of coffee, they use coffee as a language to translate their own traditional culture,also showing the exciting forth to the world. Also, The most worthy place to mentioned coffee in Japan is Tokyo. Tokyo is a city of miniature Japanese past, present and future; Tokyo is a city for pop-up thoughts; Tokyo is a city for ideas chasing each other." I want to use this book to show my thesis statement.
