Homage to Alec Soth
Alec Soth created a book of photographs entitled Sleeping By The Mississippi where he went out and captured what he felt was the essence of the Mississippi area, both it's people and locations. I tried to do the same but instead of the Mississippi I photographed my own backyard, the Northern Californian East Bay.
