Poseidon was a freshman excercise in the manipulation of paper material for my model & prototyping class. This was a group project with the goal of making a large character/costume using only paper-based material.

My team developed a character named Poseidon. Poseidon was designed to be a deep sea exploration robot. The Poseidon robot would be able to reach ocean depths not attainable by man, and collect rare specimen for research. The Poseidon robot features a suction device for specimen capturing, as well as three storage containers for the specimen. There are also dual propellers on the heel of the robot for maneuverability.
