CRAFTY HOPS

A project on designing a local craft beer or boutique cider.
Crafty Hops Pale Ale is an arty and distinctive local craft beer for young creatives. The word ‘Crafty’ is derived from its creative consumer and the hops that produce a peculiar refreshing and fruity taste.
The packaging is executed for each element to contribute in appealing to the consumers’ common interest in the arts. The colour palette, green and pink, is chosen to stand out while maintaining a relatively simple and clean layout. The typeface selected is to point out its individuality and playful characteristics. An image of the hops is incorporated for visualization of the word ‘Hops’, giving an overall minimalist aesthetic.
The label, which involves a number of elements such as illustration, typography and layout was created using Adobe Illustrator CC. The sourced photo of the hops were refined with Adobe Photoshop CC as well as the photos of the beer bottle with the printed label.
