The Collegio Rebrand



The Collegio is a student run weekly newspaper at Pittsburg State University. I had the amazing opportunity to lead five other designers in a total rebrand of the paper, it's social media and website.

When we began the rebrand we had to decide what we were keeping from the original brand. We did not want to loose the original essence of the Collegio. We decided that the well known red "O" would not only stay, but be turned into the secondary logo and be something we would call back to so the brand would be more recognizable. From there we decided on things like type, color, a new flag and how the new social media posts would look to fully round out the brand. 

This rebrand really brought us as designers closer to the paper and it was a great opportunity to lead a whole creative team in a large scale project. 

I also got to design the "Best of Pitt" branding and an animation that acted as a teaser for the special issue.
