Narrative Illustration; a school project, was required of us to come up with a short story based on Singapore. 

The blue gradient reflects the emotions of the protagonist in the different stages of events happening in her life. It starts with a darker shade of blue to show the heavy burden and sorrows she is facing now. But along the way, she slowly steps out of her shell and eventually finds happiness.
