Recently, I was hired to design the logo for a music production group by the name of THEBLKHANDS. They have a projec coming up that includes the likes of Big K.R.I.T., Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey, Smoke DZA, and others. As for the logo, they wanted a pair of tribal-tatted hands in a prayer position. Because it is a logo, I tried to include enough detail while not overwhelming the design. I also used a track that was leaked as inspiration
1. I had to take a picture of my hand first...to get the shape right. It was pretty awkward to take this picture in front of friends.
2. The sketch and penning. I think it took about two hours to do.
