I was inspired by the Korean folktale character Dokkaebi because of its simple
means of rewarding the good while punishing the bad. I wanted to create a
identity and packaging for the Dokkaebi Chocolate. This was also to share the
story of the Korean folktale and its culture. In Korean folktales, the Dokkaebi
is mostly aimed at children so that they are taught good from bad
and often times, these are creatures that look a little intimidating but with the
cuter illustration, Dokkaebi Chocolate becomes more appealing to costumers.
The fun packaging that peeks at the chocolate also make it engaging.
