"Losing It In France" was a collection designed for my Apparel 1 class and in this course my professor had us research fabrics, create moldboards and design 25 looks then narrow it down to a 12 look collection. From that point, our professor had us choose 1 look for our final to drape, pattern and sew first in muslin then, we corrected our mistakes and then finally sewed it in the real fabric. This collection was based off of the idea of running away in France and getting lost in the romantic whimsical side of the country. This cocktail dress was made up to couture standards and the evening wear industry standards.
