Coming up in the television and production world, one of the most important storytelling techniques that I have learned is employing a "slice of life" mentality to any given piece. A slice of life is exactly that... a piece of a bigger puzzle, that can live and breathe on it's own.
With this concept kept close in mind, I set out to create "Slice" - an intimate sit-down with Buccaneers players, coaches, and contributors. The format is raw, and the subject matter is broad. Let's put in the work to pull out the lesser-known stories about men and women who are quite often understood by the outside world in a one-dimensional way.
Jameis Winston was an obvious choice for our inaugural episode. The once and future leader gives us a candor and insight into his life that was previously unknown.
