The 2012 NOC Freestyle Shootout was the first official Freestyle event to be held at the newly enhanced Nantahala Wave, designed for the upcoming 2013 ICF Freestyle World Championships, in Bryson City, North Carolina. The competition hosted both Professional and Amateur freestyle competitors from across the United States.
