Responsibilities includedesign of hardware and related systems. Create CAD assembly of components for evaluation. CAD Modeling of same using multiplesurfacing software and solids modeling. CAD Modeling of blow-molded and injected plastic parts for high volume production such as, mirrors, seat bases,grab handles and handle bar pad assemblies. Create section details forergonomic evaluations. Scanning and digitizing of prototype bucks and clay models. Designed conversion program to convert x,y,z digitized data into 3-d poly-lines for CAD framework and development. Create programs to interpret hydrodynamic and hydrostatic data using scaled models and designers input. Proficiency in Solid Modeling required for design analysis and rapid proto-typing. Fit and function analysis of final assemblies. Conversion of 2D data into 3D CADD files. GD&T required. Drawings required in 2D per ANSI Y14.5. Coordinate file transfer to the machine shop for proto-type CNC machining. Create renderings from CAD data for Marketing and promotions.
