These photographs are from my second year at Univeristy My project focused on family heirlooms. The objects that I have photographed are things that belong to my family which they have kept over the years. I photographed them in the studio at university using soft box lighing to create a softer lighting on the objects. The only difficulty I found whilst photographing was that some of the objects were enclosed in glass so when I brought the light too close the glass would reflect the light also some of the white objects would show up too bright. After experimenting with different lighting styles I was able to find one that I feel lit the objects up well.
