Dance Team Nation is a purpose-driven company that will be holding a dance competition online at the end of everyone’s competition seasons.
The company is purpose-driven because the teams register with their own payment, as well as bring a matching sponsorship. A large portion of the proceeds will go to a charity chosen for the year, while the rest goes back into preparations for the next year.
Logos 1-2 have an abstract artwork that can be used alone/separate from the type. It incorporates the letters “D”, “T” and “N” to create an abstract jumping dancer with the “D” as the head, “T” as the torso/arms, and “N” as the legs.
Logos 3-6 are font-based logos that are minimalist and focus on typography.
Logos 7-10 are a bit more artistic and detailed yet still simple. I thought to incorporate the olive tree branches because of the charitable cause that goes with this company. Olive tree branches are often a symbol of peace and love. The branches also tie in with the earthy color scheme the client chose for me to work with.
