The Sun's Light

The light of the sun warms up my face,
Holding me still like a tight embrace.
Lifting my mood with warmth and glee,
Making me feel so happy and free.
The rays’ of the sun, lighting the ground,
Warming the earth without any sound.
Enticing new buds to open and flower,
The sun has many a magical power.
The light from the sun gets everywhere,
Casting shadows here and there.
Lighting up darkness, removing my fear,
Making me happier, drying my tear.
The sun is magical; its light is so strong,
Its power goes on and on and on.
When the sun is shining I feel its light,
I enjoy the feeling of being happy and bright.

This is not simple to comprehend,
You for whom Paris is not your land
Where all the colors are darkly grey,
Peachy whites with shadows play
Glints to lights to windows to eyes
Cobalt promises within her night skies.

City lights hold nuances that beckon us home
From the earth’s far corners, have we roamed…
All the colors from whence we came,
Have lead our path, and lit this flame.

A lime green garden, the russet tree
The scarlet swing, the golden glee…
Ruby red lights, and as they twinkle
Misty clay in hands gently wrinkles.
It can all shine too bright, within my night
Redfish leaves held for a moment, in my sight.
Crystals glowing far up above,
And within them, azure waters that I so love.

Creamy moons half-covered in clouds,
An indigo lake that sings its own sounds…
My eyes sparkle when I look at this sky,
Black mists tell my tales to those who pass by.
Swimming in my turquoise ocean during the day,
Turning midnight blue, starlight then shows the way.
An orange-red fruit hangs from my balcony
And a light from my home is all that I see.

Oh, new life! A Prism of future, present and past,
Colors of each of our memories are together, at last.

THE LIGHT : THE RAINBOW

Long time ago Isaac Newton showed that white light goes through prisms so then we can see the rainbow. White light, so the rainbow is made of seven colours: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.

In cloudy days raindrops are like prisms so the sun breaks down the raindrops and that’s how the rainbow appears. From the top of a mountain or a plain you can see a perfect rainbow circle.

Going to the same place or going to the same part, never can’t two people see the same shape of the rainbow because everyone looks at it from a different point. We only see half of the circle.

Hardly we can see also the moonbow. The moon’s light is faint, so it’s difficult to see it.

The legend says that at the end of the rainbow there’s a big treasure with golden coins. Actually, the end of the rainbow doesn’t exist!
