As we gain insights into functional memory we have realized, weaker memories often come to mind only through prompting or reminding. In that context how we go about learning a new language can be reorganized and revolutionized through integration in our daily lives.
The goal with this project was to design a virtual experience in learning a new language. Imagine the bond you form with your physical world defined by an activity as intuitive as looking through your eyes. That experience is embodied by the simple act of taking a picture of what you find meaningful in your day, then taking a moment to define it. Whether it is one word or an orchestra of thought. The end result is a simplified translation of your feelings, intuition and vision laid out in front of you in real time in another language. Imagine being able to learn that language and to be able to hold onto it. It truly is a marriage of our intuition and technology.
