The brief of this assignment was to create a range of advertisements using any three needs from Maslow's hierarchy of needs, I designed the following print ads, each promoting Tropicana Juice, using a different need.
Need Depicted: Security Needs Protection from elements, security, order, stability, freedom from fear. In this ad, the fact that Tropicana Juice is good for your health has been highlighted. It targets the second need in Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
Need Depicted: Social Needs Belonging, Affection, Family, Friends, Love In this ad, the product has been positioned as a conversation starter. It asks the viewer to spend time with their loved ones over a glass of Tropicana Juice. It targets the third need in Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
Need Depicted: Self-Actualisation Needs Self-Fulfilment, Personal Growth, Realizing Personal Potential In this ad, the product is supposed to play a part in discovering yourself. It depicts the need of the hour, leaving aside the rat race and taking out time for ourselves. It targets the fifth need in Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
