Pemuteran Villa is a project for private villa which is located in North Bali. The owner believed in the energy that flows through the site. the energy itself can affect the energy and activity of the people who stays in the villa. That is why the owner asked a specialist to map the energy flows within the site itself and make sure we follows the mapping as our guideline to design.

 

Following the energy map and looking at the site environment that is located by beachside and surrounded by trees, at first we are trying to make the design that fit in the environtment by made the building in organic for that follows the site contour and trees position.

Then, after the discussion with the owner, we decided to optimize the natural air flow. So, by following the mapping of energy, we re-arrange the room position and separate the bedroom from living and dining room, also make the the room more open to optimize natural lighting and airflow.

 

The building itself is still follows the site contour and the tress posisition to decide the building position and orientation. The building has modern style that si simple but functional. As for the door and window, we are using combination of solid wood, aluminium and glass.
