The heritage village of Khotachiwadi in Mumbai showcases a vast variety of architectural styles. From Imperial Neoclassical to Old Portuguese, these buildings are heavily ornamented with unique elements of several different cultures; as well as a hybrid style derived from the existing local architecture.
The program of each of these elements was analysed and re-imagined as functional blocks which could re-orient themselves according to requirement- giving rise to a new, eclectic form of architecture.
