'Recycling' sheds light on the concept of environmental degradation that stems from the failure to recycle. Using scrap metal, I created a sculpture of a futuristic bicycle, which serves as a metaphor to the word 'recycling'. The purpose of the clock as a wheel is a satire on time. We may appear to be advancing into the future by incessantly pedaling forward. However, our efforts may be redundant, for we are only regressing with our unsustainable use of resources. The only phenomenon we are moving closer towards is death. This can be seen by the replacement of a human on the bicycle seat by mere bones.
