A collection that draws inspiration from an age-old craft of India - hand block printing and batik. This collection is an attempt to not only revive these beautiful crafts but also contemporize them to match modern aesthetics and move away from traditional motifs. The collection aims at keeping the essence and the beauty of handcrafted textile prints whilst using modern abstract and geometric designs.
The collection comprises of cushion covers and table linen in soft linens and cottons characterised by a combination of traditional floral and geometric designs. The overlap of colour and form results in completely new patterns.
Interaction with the artisans has introduced them to a more modern and trendy colour palette and has created a wider design aesthetic that is different but still maintains the timeless beauty of these crafts
