Inspired by the colours, motifs and symbols of the royal military, this is a collection of hand embroidered and textured cushion covers of soft velvet and suede highlighted by details of gold and heavy embellishments, and hand painted sheer curtains of regal gold.
Textures and paper concepts were developed using mixed mediums and materials which further progressed into fabric swatch trials - an attempt to combine various techniques of print, embroidery and material manipulation to come up with suitable surfaces that could be converted into final products.
