Room divider system
Pentagon is variable room divider system which can be placed in open spaces, like halls or living rooms. It has the ability to divide the room both visually and acoustically.
Pentagon has a large number of variations which can be customize according to the user's taste in playful and creative way.
Individual pentagon parts are held together by joints that can be easily pressed together.
As material I used paper pulp, which is made of recycled paper and can be recycled again. This interesting material can be modified with PLA plastic which makes it firm. It's also waterproof and can absorb noise. Natural appearance of the paper makes a good impression in the interior. These abilities make paper pulp ideal material for the room divider.
Pentagon system can be hung on an aluminum rail which is anchored in the ceiling.
This project was designed in collaboration with Tridas, paper pulp manufacturer. First prototypes are now in production.
