Gwen was the first professional model I worked with. She's was also the first nude model I worked with. This is one of several iconic images we created based on what I think is sexy. In this case, it's a beautiful model wearing a pair of socks. Gwen no longer models but she is still beautiful. I'd love to work with her again.
This is Mischa. I shot this at the 2008 Zivity Pinup Workshop in San Francisco. Misha was one of the featured models. Mosh and Mariya Phillips were the others. Lithium Picnic (Phillip Warner), Addicted Image (Conan Serrano), and the late Christine Kessler were conducting the workshop. It was a great workshop. Mischa was a lot of fun to work with. Unfortunately, she and her boyfriend moved to L.A. and I never had a chance to work with her again.
This is Mosh. Yes, THE Mosh. She was another featured model at the Zivity Pinup Workshop in 2008. She taught me how to do a content shoot. I shot 64 images of her in about 3 minutes. All the poses are different. She is an excellent model and is just a cool girl all around. There was no attitude.
This is Mariya. She was the other featured model at the Zivity pinup workshop. Mariya is a Playboy model and participated in the natural light segment conducted by Conan Serrano. She was very friendly but I felt she was a little uncomfortable. I'm guessing she wasn't used to being in such an open environment with lots of people milling around and a bunch of photographers (at various skill levels) shooting her. I remember she left early after her segment.
Felice is the first professional model I worked with. We only worked together once. She was very patient with me and I thought we worked well together. She did a lot of fetish modeling with Eric Kroll but stopped a few years ago. I did a Google search just to see if anything popped up and found she has fourth stage melanoma cancer. I feel so sorry for her. For the first time, I'm breaking my "nothing serious on Behance" rule. Here is a link to her GoFund me campaign. I made a donation. I had the honor and privilege of photographing Ileana. This is her first pin-up shoot and, (this is significant), the first time she has ever modeled. She did an outstanding job. Her incredible beauty was matched by her strength and courage. It really shows in the photos. This is a sneak preview of what's to come.
This is Jordanlehn and this is the last concept we created today. I always thought eyepatches were sexy after seeing Angelina Jolie in Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Jordanlehn was down for it. This is the first proof from an incredible photo shoot we did today. Jordanlehn is an amazing model and a great person to work with, and I'm looking forward to posting the photos we created today. I have a bigger write-up but I'll save that for the first photo story.
