During Spring 2015 I was fortunate enough to spend a semester abroad living in Trastevere, Rome. For my Pattern Development III class this collection was inspired by the street style of Trastevere natives that I would pass on my way to school every morning. These women exuded a balance of edge and refinement and I strived to create a collection that would convey these juxtaposing ideals. Both looks were created using patternmaking and draping skills learned within the course.
