I have been interested in attempting the art of the everday, creating something simple to share online and then move on to the next day and try something else. Below you will find my first week of everydays.
Everday #1: This was inspired by the film Beyond the Black Rainbow. This is my depiction of the security system within the Arboria Institute.
Everday #2: I often think I'm going to spend my Sundays sitting on my front porch sipping champagne from the bottle with a straw. The reality is that I'm going to the grocery and doing laundry.
Everyday #3: I've been watching the new HBO series Vinyl and last week's episode inserted a quick nod to my favorite band Big Star.
Everyday #4: A few months back I wanted to learn to animate an umbrella opening and closing. It was really tough and I abandoned the project. Last week EJ Hassenfratz added a new tutorial on how to do so. This coincided with the last day of Winter quarter at SCAD and the timing could not have been better.
Everyday #5: A month ago I had surgery on my hand to correct some issues. This past week I finished 5 long weeks of physical therapy. I officially graduated.
Everyday #6 & #7: I hope this counts but one of my everdays spanned 2 days. I signed up for Jake Bartlett's Skillshare class: Rock Out with Character Animation. The goal: To animate your favorite rock star. It was not even a question on who I would choose.
