SKIDAWAY ISLAND RESORT
The intent of this project was to create a suitable environment for park goers that need special attention medically, spiritually, or just need to grab a bite and enjoy the scenery. This project is in the midst of Skidaway Island Park, at the coast of Savannah, Georgia. This peaceful park reunites hikers, and campers who need to escape their busy everyday lives. This project is placed near Skidaway Narrows and near several trails so it is easy to access. Overall, this project is meant to enhance the experience of Skidaway and add a spa, small outpatient clinic, and smoothie bar.

DESIGN INTENT:
Skidaway Island State Park is a marvelous location to go and explore. With this new resort addition, the park-goers can enjoy nature with the inside-outside collision. This resort is divided into three buildings to accomodate different needs (clinic, restaurant, and wellness center). Overall, this resort brings the mind, body and soul together in a comfortable yet unique environment. The goal is to go through the site from the clinic being cleansed to getting healthier and happier by the time you get to Skidaway Zenergy (Spa,Yoga, Gym & Aquatic Center).
