These are a few of the photos I took for my final major project for my photography BTEC at college (2013). My theme was to show people in markets in a documentary style but some of them are taken in a 'street portaiture' style. They were taken across many markets in the UK and Portugal and photographed on a Nikon D3X and Nikon D2x. These photos were shown in my college's photography exhibition and I got a distinction for this project. Documentary Photography is something I am still passionate about and love to do in my spare time. 

This photo was taken in Portobello Road Market, London. The man and his dog featured are Ron and Bytsy, Ron used to be a market trader but has since retired but he still comes to the market frequently. I have taken several photos of him over the years but this one is my favourite. 

This photo is of Nick who has a antiques stall in Portobello Market.

This photo is of a woman who has a bread stall in Wimbourne Market. She did give me permission to take this photo but she does work incredibly long hours, hence the moody expression. 

This photo was taken in an indoor food market in Faro, Portugal.

This photo was taken more in a street photography style, the timing happened to be perfect for this shot. It was taken in Kempton antiques Market in London.
