Before she graduated as a midwife, she studied anthropology, so she has a strong attention to detail and she wanted to create something original and cutting edge for her clients.

I chose an egg because of its iconic and symbolic associations. It remind me pregnancy, because of its two components, one inside the other. Additionally you can eat eggs in many different ways and this reflect the many different types of delivery available to women today.
I chose to create stationery that can be separate, giving different interpretations to the midwife and to the mother. It could be a gift for the baby’s photo album.

How it works.
At the first appointment Alice completes all fields in the form as a brief with the mother’s medical information. After nine months, when the baby arrives, the midwife can tear off the yolk and give it to the new mother. She can use this in her pregnancy photo album. The other part can be used to build the midwife’s document file, keeping track of all her deliveries.
