Local now is the most expansive digital (OTT) product that Weather Channel has released. It is a new streaming video service, providing viewers with real-time local weather, traffic, news and sports reports.
We were assigned to brand the product and come up with a young look and animation for it. During six weeks, five designers and art directors pitched various design ideas and luckily my design idea won the final pitch.
The combination of footage, simple bold typography with bright color coding for different sections have made a modern and young look for Local Now.
