The winning poster design for the SCAD Lacoste Open Studio poster for winter quarter 2016. As part of my Art Direction I class, I chose to collaborate with Carmin Gerard, a sequential art student, and she created the beautiful illustration for the poster. I art directed the piece, so I was responsible for concepting, layout, and the typographic elements. To give the poster a sense of continuity between the painterly illustration and the flat type, I added a faint watercolor texture overlay to the text to better integrate it into the scene.
