My band Ex-Legionnaires decided to self-release our own eight song cassette and have it in time for SXSW 2016. After a relatively speedy recording process I had to come up with some art for the tape.

Looking at the overall aesthetic for the band -- we're all about high-contrast and white space. I wanted to take a different approach with this cover and went with a much darker and -- overall moodier feeling pallette. Black on gray looked good and the logo sat right in kind of an ominous cult-y way.
