"Golden state of Mind" is a concept driven by the open-mindedness to the here and now of the world we perceive. The idea that anyone, anywhere can do whatever they want. The creative wanderlust that encourages your soul. Living for the love and laughter, vibing to the rhythm-rays of sun, dreaming to the whispers of the moon, the stars and all the other sparkles in the sky, and taking any path life opens, for keeping your head in the clouds is key. This weaving quite literally 'reflective' of this positive mindset. Warped with yellow, white and platinum gold stripes of metallic chainette, wefts of a single spun bamboo/cotton blend gradating through natural and stark white, and a simple 2/5 natural silk tabby, with a few striped of the various gold and a the tiniest hint of a stardust silk boucle inlayed. Blooming leaf structuring my design with movement and energy not only through its leaf motifs, but even more through the stars that seem to radiate out of the fabric. Turning the fabric into a garment adds to the idea of the comfort felt when wearing a covering, or the security of a positive mindset.
