Danier Design ChallengeAs a 3rd year design student I was able to compete in the annual Danier Leather Design Challenge of 2011. The competition pit all of the designers in my year against each other and I was honored to have made it to the top ten. My nature inspired jacket featured a stained petal applique which was riveted to the body of the jacket as on ombre from the shoulder and removable chains in the front allowing for a more edgy or conservative look. The jacket can either be worn completely buttoned up or you can roll back the lapel and push up the sleeves to reveal the printed lining for the boyfriend blazer look.As part of the competition we were asked to put together a marketing video to present our jackets to the public.
