The design process began with defining the word 'simple' and we ultimately chose to keep the form minimal. The finished piece
is a wooden desk with a small shelf for storing a laptop, notebooks and pens. The shelf extends only 12" into the desk, at which point
it slopes up to meet the desk top so that nothing can get "lost" in the back of the shelf.
