As a person and as a designer I tend to gravitate towards soft things. My goal for this project was to create a stool that was comfortable in the same way a soft piece of furniture might be, which was a challenge given the rigidity of the material. I deconstructed the shape of the pouf and applied it to my work in a way that was both visually appealing and structurally sound.
