Frends approached us to collaborate on an idea to showcase the various products lines in their store in a clean, unique series of ads. They were familiar with outr simple, but elegant work for the Labyrinth Masquerade and CritSuccess. We were sought out to bring that simplicity to an age old problem of large retailers: How do you showcase thousands of SKUs and various disciplines in one simple story?
They were inspired by work seen for the advertising on Face Off, but wanted to take it one step further: Smash two wildly different worlds together with one message: "Everything You Need for Every Look You Want." Our goal was to combine the world of high fashion and Hollywood visual effects in a slick, clean presentation that would evoke Hollywood movie magic and glossy cosmetic advertising. Taking the same model from "Beauty to Beast" in one day seemed to be the best approach for this project.
