Theta Xi approached me to design their Winter Rush shirts for a future quarter. I was excited to take on this project because it would be one of my first real dives into creating lettering in vector format.

The criteria for the shirt was to include the rush quarter, the year, their name, and possibly their emblem. The theme they wanted was geared toward street apparel. I took inspiration from popular brands like Stussy and YG, and began creating rough sketches of what I imagined their shirts would look like with Theta Xi printed on them.

After a couple renditions, I knew I wanted a clean, cursive lettering to represent the fraternity. I drew out the rough sketch, and then converted it into a vector, drawing each point by hand. It was a tough process, but I believe the result was more than worth it.
