Before the European economic crisis, coastal development was one of the main focus point at the Mediterranean countries. Due to the crisis the construction was stopped, by the abandoned, empty ghost buildings landscape lost its own identity. The natural environment of the beautiful coastlines disappeared under concrete. The images were made in Greece and Italy, where the building industry collapsed and the half-ready hotels are drastically affected structures, landscapes and still standing as a Stigma, a lifeless memento.
 
The deserted hotels, breakwaters create a tension between the concrete and the nature, what seeks to recover its own habitat.
