LYSISTRATA
Based on the classical comedy Greek play, by Aristophanes, the story follows the protagonist, Lysistrata, and her efforts to end the Peloponnese War, in the hopes of returning husbands and sons back to their wives and families. As a means to deter the men from fighting any further, Lysistrata convinces all the women of Greece to with-hold sex from all the males, until a peace treaty is reached. As a result, the men and politicians are forced to choose their women or their pride.
