Healthy Snacks for Young Kids

 

In an effort to make school foods healthier, Chubby Cheeks repackages healthier snack alternatives such as almonds, pecans and vegetable chips as something fun and appealing to elementary school kids.

The name “Chubby Cheeks” is inspired by the cheek pockets some animals use to store their food, giving them a cute face. Each of these animals love eating their paired match, and by featuring a cute caricature of the animal, the kids will find them more exciting and fun to eat.

Promotional posters were created with the key demographic in mind: the health benefits of the snacks are shown through a kids point of view and showcase what they can accommplish with the right nutrition.

Web and print advertisements would follow the same cut paper treatment established through the brand. A customized typeface is highlighted in the ephemera for a fun geometric yet hand-cut look that grabs attention.
