My design is filled with numerous copies of two different butterflies to create another unique pattern and shape. It also has multiple layers of both the texture and the butterflies to create an illusion effect of the butterflies moving, and also a glowing effect. My design was inspired by Damien Hirst and Alexander McQueen's skull scarf collection on how they arrange each insect in a kaleidoscopic geometric shape. In my design, i played around with most of the tessellation method such as reflecting, rotating and translating in each part, then lastly reflected both horizontally and vertically on to create my final piece.
