The New York Jets most recent logo change came in 1998, reintroducing the ‘NY’ Monogram behind the ‘JETS’ wordmark atop an oval shaped background. While they’ve made slight changes to the uniform over the years, the green and white color scheme has remained consistent throughout the franchise’s history.
For my redesign, I decided to move away from the classic green and white color scheme and incorporate a dark grey secondary color. I played off the italic style of the ‘JETS’ wordmark previously used by the organization to update the ‘NY’ monogram.
