What is it about the Himalayas that fascinates you?

They say beauty lies in the eyes of beholder, but, whenever I'm in the Himalayas, I feel the beauty even with my eyes closed. My mother used to say that every mountain range looks the same until the day I convinced her that every mountain is unique just like every human is, and likewise place has its different stories. The first time when I went to Himachal Pradesh independently, I was exulted to my core. The freshness in the air, the sweetness in the water, the lush forest with all the birds and animals, the most hospitable people from the remote villages living happily and the savoriness of the naturally grown food, and I finally understood what a blessing meant. I think almost everyone is infatuated with the gorgeous landscapes in the mountains, but I have found profound love in the Himalayas. It's just like how two people in a relationship need each other for mutual existence and growth. I feel an urge to go to the mountains every month, just to sleep peacefully in my tent next to the stream of water, just to get lost in an ethereal world by staring deep in the star-filled sky for hours, just to meet the old farmers and shephards who always have a lot of interesting stories to share, just to have a cup of tea when it rains continuously for days and you have nowhere to go - nothing to do, just to see how one night of snowfall can completely transform everything around and you wake up wondering if you're still dreaming, just to leave all the cameras and phones away because the place is wayy more beautiful to get captured, just to find a better conscience in my head and peace in my heart.
