Piping hot restaurant’s design focuses on the concept of sustainable development embraced by the building envelope's system and vegetation. The idea of incorporating green space enhances occupant comfort and boosts worker performance. Meanwhile, the facade environment helps increase energy efficiency making it much more than aesthetic element. The system features a water pipe inside a baguette shaped louver to serve dual purposes of rainwater capture and shading. Therefore, the advantage of combining shading and water heating out of one simple device is remarkable both for efficiency and sustainability.
