So to get back into the swing of things art-wise, I decided to start off by revisiting a series that I really enjoyed working on during the final quarter of my senior year called "Daily Hairoscopes", which was aimed at celebrating the beauty and versatility of black hair and encouraging black people to love their hair, especially during a time when a lot of black girls in schools were being shamed and degraded for it. As someone who grew up hating the texture of her hair (and later learned to love it thanks to outspoken activists on social media), this project is still very close to my heart. Thanks for views, follows, and appreiciations during my post-grad hiatus, hehe. 

So finally I put the old (right) alonside the new (left) and definitely think I've gotten more comfortable working in this style. I also just like the way it looks, hahaha.
