This mural was completed during a few Saturdays with my best friend for her son's bedroom (location: Savannah, GA). Starting with the water background we applied a faux painting technique to give the texture she wanted. She did the majority of this before I would arrive to assist with the animals.

 

Around the room we worked together on the Orca and Yellowfin Tuna, the Dolphin trio, Spotted Rays, and the Seals. She painted the Coral Reefs with a Mermaid sitting upon one (the detail is not pictured but can be seen through the crib). As she worked on these areas I painted the Great White Shark hidden behind the door and the Sea Turtle. Also not pictured (unfortunately it never was documented by me), there was a pylon next to the opening of the door with a Pelican perched on top.
