Kitchen Concept
Design Brief: Design a kitchen with human factors as a primary concern.
Me and my team took it to the next level and choose a target market of a bachelor living in New York. Someone who does not have a lot of space nor does he need a lot. For our first attempt we took all of the minimum measurements for ergonomic kitchens and applied it. The result was rather predictable so we ended up deciding that we could take this concept of efficiency to a whole other level and thus Iota was born.
Iota is comprised of different appliances that are only big enough to cover the basics of cooking, like using a two burner stove instead of four or using chilled drawers instead of a full fridge. The design also includes things like a workspace that doubles as a bar top.
